I've had a look through the Forum and can't find anything about this - apologies if I missed it.

I've got a laptop with 500 Gb HD (about 1/4 full), and have just bought a new 250 Gb SSD. The SSD is attached to the laptop with a SATA-to-USB adapter. I have installed Paragon Migrate OS to SSD but it doesn't work at all. It correctly finds the OS partition and asks me to choose which files to migrate (I've selected all of them). Hi,
I have purchsed Paragon Hard Drive Disk manager 15 suite. I am trying to migrate my laptop hard drive 1Tb to a 512Gb SSD. The SSD was hosted in a drive caddy and connected via USB3. I have used Copy&Migration to copy my complete hard drive. This included 2 main partitions and accepted default set and applied the image. This was succesfully run overnight and completed.
However, when i insert the SSD directly into the laptop it fails to load:

Hi,

Disaster has struck and my Hard Disk has given up the ghost. It is a 1TB drive with two partitions:
1. 100MB System, Active, Primary Partition
2. 931.41GB Primary Partition

Looking at the images I took using Paragon Hard Disk Manager 11 Suite I only have an image for the second one. If I buy a replacement drive I am guessing that even though it may say 1TB it may be a slightly different size.
Is this true and could it cause problems restoring the image?

Partition Manager 14 and Drive Copy 14, both special editions for XP, offer a wrong link to the registration page during the installation process.

for example

I recently did an in-place upgrade of my Windows XP 32bit to Windows Vista and my secondary 750GB partition on my 3TB drive is no longer accessible. So I was handed Paragon HD Manager 14 and asked to create a new image for the domain moving forward.

I did a straight backup of a model system without sysprep and of course it copied the hostname/domain over onto the new system.

How do you create an image in HD Manager that has the windows out of the box experience (which I would do normally from C:\Windows\System32\sysprep\sysprep.exe) so that all the software/drivers are there but the PC retains it's own unique identifier and does not...

I bought Paragon GPT Disk Manager I have a a 6.0 TB HDD. WD60 , In a PC with Windows XP SP3
it shows me a capacity of 1493 G

Hello, I'm new to the forum and I have 3 questions about Migrate OS to SSD 3.0:
1. Is it compatible with Windows 8.1?
2. I currently have Windows 8.1 on a HDD in my Thinkpad X240. If I migrate from the HDD to SSD, and I swap the HDD with the SSD, will there be any boot issues (maybe some hidden OEM partition)?
3. Do I need to worry about 4K alignment, or does Migrate OS to SSD 3.0 take care of this?

i am using paragon boot repair and i can get it to successfully start my windows pc once per repair.

is there a way to save the repairs and make them permanent?

Hello,

I cleared up a lot of space on my source drive so I can copy everything to my SSD. However, Paragon Migrate OS to SSD is telling me there is not enough space on my destination drive even though there should be plenty of space on the destination drive.

Take a look at the screenshot. What can I do to get around this?

I was converting an HFS+ formatted 500GB USB drive to NTFS, I moved the drive a little while the program said estimated time remaining : 16 hours and then I saw "I/O Error has occurred, retry, ignore?" pop up, I click retry and I saw the same error, made sure the connections were secure and hit retry again.
Same message popped up... this time I hit ignore, the converter said it was complete and exited.

Turns out all files were converted properly except for the 308GB compressed disk image on...

Hi there. I have a brand new 4TB hard disk that was formatted with NTFS. I wanted to convert it to HFS+ but the conversion utility just gives me a "bad parameter of function" error and an error code 0x1100a.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening. The disk is brand new, although the enclosure is not but it has been working with other drives perfectly well.

I am running Windows 8.1

I have been using version 11 for some years now ans although I have used most of the facilities I have never had the courage to try the Capsule. I did the other day and I am suitably impressed.

In my tower I have three systems: Windows 7 Home, Windows 8.1, and good-ole XP. They are each installed on an individual hard disk and I select whichever one I want to use by way of the BIOS. The method works well for me and have no problem with it.

My backup Capsule is 40gig in size and exists at the end of the partition, I would like to resize it to 50gig but I seem to get into strife each time I try a resize. How do I go about it please?

Hi:

I'm running Disk wipe 15 pro against a SSD boot drive. I wiped the boot partition and the partition background turned red in the graphical disk display. I wiped the C: partition with the default paragon algorithm. The report stated that it completed, but the C: partition does not show with a red background. Does this mean that the wipe failed? Is it perhaps a bug in the software?

Windows 7 Pro 64bit upgrade edition (see member details for full system info)

I copied a C: 300gb OS HD with only about 75 gb on it to a new Crucual 250gb SSD. At the copy time I had the 1TB and a DVD installed.
During the install I checked the box "Use all available space for the partition with OS" Everything went smoothly and I rebooted and changed the bios so the new SSD is the first boot. Windows started and all was well, I thought. I noticed the boot up didn't seem very fast though....

Having just put together a new computer with a 120g ssd and 2 1Tb drives, I proceeded with a fresh install of Win7 pro. Tried to migrate files from old pc to learn file size to large. So reinstalled windows to one of the Tb drives, and looked at other forum about using a utility to do the heavy work for me. So purchased OS-SSD in the hopes to make like easy. Unfortunately, my primary drive is E, secondary F, and SSD G. OS-SS doesn't find C and aborts immediately. Any thoughts?

I have an old Toshiba DVR with 4 drive bays and XP 32bit, wanted to increase recording capacity. I was able to get Western Digital 4TB drives working as additional storage drives, left a 2 GB for OS. The Intel BIOS still only sees 1.something on the drives but Windows sees the whole space since GPT Loader worked. Hi folks,

Frustrating issue here. Migrate OS to SSD did not take too long to calculate space requirements on the SSD surprisingly enough. My SSD is a 120gb one and it calculated that i will be copying 102.1 gb to the SSD. So i ticked the 'Use all available space for the partition with OS' check box and then when I went to click the copy button the window froze. I did not receive any error message and I am afraid to stop the program from task manager. Should I wait and see if it finishes...
